The statue of St. Kunigunde, co-founder of the Diocese of Bamberg, was created in 1750 by Johann Peter Benkert. The original resides in St. Jakob's Church, while a 1992 replica adorns the bridge. It is the only statue that survived the 1784 flood among the original six.

Take a moment to observe the statue of St. Kunigunde standing on this bridge. This bridge, an architectural heritage monument in Bavaria, was built in 1744. The statue itself was created in 1750 by Johann Peter Benkert. Originally, there were six statues here, but a devastating flood in 1784 left only this one intact. You can find the original statue in St. Jakob's Church. This replica was placed here in 1992 to honor the co-founder of the Diocese of Bamberg.
