The Berlin Palace, founded in 1451, was the main residence of the Brandenburg electors and later the Prussian kings. Designed in Baroque style by Andreas Schlüter, it was heavily damaged during WWII and subsequently demolished. Since 2020, it has been rebuilt and houses the Humboldt Forum, featuring the Ethnological Museum and the Museum of Asian Art.
