Designed by Karl Friedrich Schinkel, the Friedrichswerder Church was constructed between 1824 and 1831 in the Gothic Revival style. As one of the earliest representative brick buildings since the Middle Ages, it now stands as a heritage monument and part of the Berlin State Museums. Inside, the altar, pulpit, and stained glass windows reflect its original use as a Protestant church.
