Imagine standing here, right in the heart of Berlin, where history seems to whisper from every corner. Look up at the towering figure of Otto von Bismarck, Germany's first chancellor. Did you know this monument originally stood in front of the Reichstag building? In the 1930s, it was moved here to the Großer Stern to highlight its significance in the Tiergarten. Just behind you, if you turn around, you'll notice the statues of Albrecht von Roon and Helmuth von Moltke. These men were Bismarck’s contemporaries and played crucial roles in German history too. Can you feel the aura of power and influence emanating from these stone figures? It's as if the past lingers here, right under the leafy canopy of the Tiergarten.
