You're standing in front of Schaubude Berlin, a state-funded venue for puppet and object theater. This building originally housed the Puppentheater Berlin until it became the Schaubude in 1993. This transformation marked a new beginning for the independent theater scene in Berlin's Prenzlauer Berg district. Managed by Kulturprojekte Berlin, the Schaubude represents creativity and artistic freedom. If you look to your left, you might catch a glimpse of Anton Saefkow Park, about 316 meters to the south. The proximity to such green spaces makes this area both vibrant and inviting.
