The Ernst Thälmann Monument on Greifswalder Straße in Prenzlauer Berg is a colossal statue honoring the KPD leader Ernst Thälmann, unveiled in 1986. Created by Soviet sculptor Lev Kerbel, this monument is considered an architectural heritage and is part of the Ernst-Thälmann-Park complex. Its unveiling occurred on April 15, 1986, just before Thälmann's 100th birthday.
