The Carl Legien Housing Estate in Berlin's Prenzlauer Berg was constructed between 1928 and 1930 based on designs by the esteemed architect Bruno Taut. It is part of the Berlin Modernism Housing Estates and is recognized as a cultural monument. This remarkable residential project was commissioned by GEHAG and named after the German trade union leader Carl Legien.
