The Train-Denkmal commemorates the fallen soldiers of the Hessian Train Division No. 18 and their field formations from World War I. The 3.5-meter-tall metal statue was erected in 1929 in the Orangeriegarten and relocated to the Prinz-Emil-Garten around 1964. The inscription honors those who fell during the World War from 1914-1918.
