The Saxon Ständehaus in Dresden, designed by Paul Wallot between 1901 and 1907, is a splendid example of Renaissance Revival architecture. Originally the seat of the Saxon Parliament, it now houses the Saxony State Office for Heritage Conservation and the Dresden Higher Regional Court. Recognized as a cultural heritage monument in Germany, it enjoys special protection.
