The Egloffsteinsches Palais, also known as Palais Egloffstein, stands as Erlangen's largest baroque noble palace. Built in 1718, the two-story, three-winged structure features sandstone ashlar construction and an eastern facade with a central projection and mansard hipped roof. Today, it houses the Adult Education Center and the German-French Institute.
