Take a moment to notice where you are; this spot is a real gem. Since 1983, Theaterwerkstatt Pilkentafel has been a key venue for contemporary performing arts in Flensburg. Nestled in a heritage-listed building from 1771, it hosts an array of performances and workshops. It's one of just eight independent theaters in Schleswig-Holstein supported by the Ministry of Justice, Culture, and Europe. This theater stands out as the only one in Flensburg operating at a professional level. It’s also a member of the Association Internationale du Théâtre de l’Enfance et la Jeunesse, connecting it to a broader international theater network.
