This nature reserve was founded in 1973, and as you stand here, you can feel its tranquility. Look around, and you'll see the Tränkebach stream winding its way through the Enkheimer Ried. To the north, about 565 meters away, lies the Berger Hang, providing a stunning backdrop to this serene spot. Behind you, the Enkheimer Forest envelops the reserve in lush greenery. Despite being close to the L 3209 road and the A 66 highway, the peace of nature prevails here. If you glance westward, about 786 meters away, you'll find the Riedteich, another gem in this natural oasis.
