The Institute for Comparative Irrelevance was an autonomous center in Frankfurt, operated by students in a squatted building of Goethe University. From 2003 to 2013, it was a key meeting place for the leftist and radical left scene. Designed by Ferdinand Kramer, it is now recognized as a cultural heritage site in Germany.
