The bronze statue of German poet Friedrich Schiller (1759–1805) has stood in Frankfurt's Taunusanlage since 1955. Designed by Johannes Dielmann, this neoclassical monument was created between 1859 and 1863 and unveiled in 1864, featuring an oversized depiction of Schiller on a cubic pedestal.
