Located in Frankfurt's historic Peterskirchhof, the AIDS Memorial commemorates those lost to the disease. Designed by artist Tom Fecht, the words 'Wounded Love' are etched into the church's supporting wall. Each year on World AIDS Day, a nail is driven into the wall to remember those who passed in the previous year. It's a place of reflection and remembrance for what has been lost, yet remains in memory.
