Established in 1914, the Waldfriedhof Oberrad is situated at the northeastern edge of the Frankfurt City Forest. Managed by the municipality, it has been part of the Frankfurt Green Belt conservation area since 1991. The grounds also include the Dutch memorial cemetery Frankfurt.
