Guided Story

Did you know these old walls once housed a rubber factory? Look to your left and imagine the scent of freshly produced rubber filling the air. One of the highlights here is an impressive collection of old machines that still work like they did back in the day. These machines whisper tales of sweat and innovation. If you listen closely, you might almost hear the clatter of gears and the hiss of steam. And just behind you, a short walk away, stands the massive drill head T.R.U.D.E., one of the largest tunnel boring machines in the world. It’s a giant testament to the labor force that carved out Hamburg's underground.
