The Königinnendenkmal in Hanover, also known as the Prinzessinnen-Denkmal, depicts the sisters Luise of Prussia and Friederike of Hanover. Born in the Old Palace in Hanover, they became Prussian princesses through marriage, with Friederike later becoming Queen of Hanover in 1837. The statue dates from the early 20th century during the German Empire.
