The Koblenz Cable Car connects the Rhine facilities near the Basilica of St. Castor with the plateau before Ehrenbreitstein Fortress. Notably, it is Germany's first three-cable gondola lift, accommodating up to 7,600 people per hour. Originally built for the 2011 Federal Horticultural Show, it serves as a demonstration system for manufacturer Doppelmayr.
