The Cologne Cable Car, built for the 1957 Federal Garden Show, spans 935 meters over the Rhine, connecting the districts of Riehl and Deutz. Operated by the Cologne Cable Car Company, a subsidiary of the Cologne Transport Authority (KVB) since 1998, it is a listed architectural heritage monument in North Rhine-Westphalia and has transported over 20 million passengers.
