Gedenkort an das Deportationslager Köln-Müngersdorf

The Memorial for the Cologne-Müngersdorf Deportation Camp, created by Simon Ungers in January 2020, commemorates the fate of Jews from Cologne and surrounding areas who were deported between 1941 and 1945. The steel monument stands at the former site of the assembly camp, from which approximately 3,500 people were deported to ghettos and extermination camps in occupied Eastern Europe.
