Karlbrücke

The Karlbrücke, originally built in 1878, is a key piece of this city's history. It is currently being replaced with a new construction, scheduled for completion by September 2025. The demolition of the old bridge was a necessary step to make way for modernization. Looking north, you'll notice the Riverboat, just about 150 meters away, and if you head a little northwest, approximately 202 meters, you'll find the Elisabethbrücke. These bridges and structures together tell the story of the city's ongoing renewal and adaptation to meet the needs of its people.
