Opened in 1891, the Kurpfalzbrücke in Mannheim is a key structure linking the southern part of the city to the opposite bank of the Neckar. The station on its south side, once operated by the Upper Rhine Railway Company, remains operational for diversions and special services, despite not being in regular use since 1995. Managed by Rhein-Neckar-Verkehr, it is an integral part of the public transport network.
