Can you hear the gentle ripple of the water? Look closely, and you might spot a fish jumping playfully. This lake has an interesting history—it was actually formed from gravel mining last century. To your left is one of the charming swimming pools, the Heinz-Hunsinger Summer Pool. And behind you, there's another pool on the west shore. These little bathing spots are lovingly run by clubs. If you wander a bit further, keep an eye out for the local birdlife that has made this place home. A short walk north will take you to Niederfeld, where you can experience city life from a fresh perspective.
