You're standing at Kreuzschanze in Münster, a historical park built between 1648 and 1660. Look around, and you'll see two small ponds that remain from the original moat protecting the site. To the southeast, you'll notice the Buddenturm, the last remaining tower of the city's fortifications. Kreuzschanze is unique as it's the only one of its kind still preserved in its full extent. If you look east, you'll find the Annette von Droste-Hülshoff monument just 128 meters away. Enjoy this place that holds a piece of Münster's history.
