The Fortunaportal on Potsdam's Old Market was designed in 1701 by Jean de Bodt as the entrance to the Potsdam City Palace. It was inaugurated for the coronation of Elector Friedrich III as King Friedrich I of Prussia. Standing 27 meters tall, it exemplifies classical architecture.
