Founded in May 1989 by collectors Rolf and Heidi Scheurich, the Toy Museum in Trier resides in the historic 'Steipe' at the main market square. Once the largest privately run toy museum in Germany, it is now managed by a dedicated association. Its 2003 relocation to this heritage building adds a unique charm to the collection.
