Can you hear the gentle trickle of water? It almost feels like this massive marble egg is beginning to float right before your eyes. Created by Hubert Schiefelbein in 1983, this sculpture has captivated visitors ever since. Look up and notice how the water cascading down gives the egg’s surface an almost mesmerizing effect. Imagine how many students on this Bauhaus University campus have found inspiration during their breaks here. Turn around and you might catch a glimpse of the Liszt House in the distance, another spot steeped in history and creativity, inviting you for a stroll.
