Station 5 of the Memory Path, Aumühle Ascent, features a stele and a pavement plaque. This memorial commemorates the Jewish citizens of Lower Franconia who, in 1941 and 1942, were forced to walk this path to the Aumühle freight station. From there, trains departed for transit and extermination camps of the Nazi regime.
