Contacting an Owner Anonymously
When you find an item with an ID QR code, you can send a message to the owner — completely anonymously.
What You Need
Nothing. No account, no app, no email. Just scan the QR code, type your message, and send.
What the Owner Sees
- Your message
- Location (only if you choose to share it)
- Email (only if you choose to provide it)
Are You Truly Anonymous?
Yes — if you don't share your email, the owner has no way to identify you. Your message is delivered anonymously through itemID.
Want to Receive Replies?
After sending your message, you can optionally provide your email address. If you do, the owner can reply and you'll receive their response via email with a secure link. Your email is never displayed publicly.
