What do finders see when they scan my QR code?

The Finder's View

When someone scans your QR code, they see a specially designed page. Here's what appears:

Visible Information

• Item name — e.g., "Keys", "Laptop"
• Description — If you added one
• Photo — If you uploaded one
• Status — "Possessed", "Lost", "Stolen", etc.
• Chat — To send a message directly

Not Visible to Finders

• Your email address
• Your real name (only display name)
• Your phone number
• Your location or other items

For "Lost" or "Stolen" Items

When you set a status, finders see a prominent notice. For "Stolen", they're informed the item may have been illegally obtained.
