In front of you stands a statue unveiled on June 16, 1951 in Frankfurt. Created by artist Georg Kolbe, it was originally designed in 1948. This modern bronze sculpture commemorates the famous composer Ludwig van Beethoven, who lived from 1770 to 1827. It is recognized as a cultural heritage monument in Hesse. Just to the east, you can spot the Taunusanlage park, only 18 meters away. To the west, about 63 meters away, is another landmark, the Ehrenmal der 63er.
