Since 1859, the Lachhannes, also known as the Winzerbrunnen, has charmed visitors with its late-classical design. A bronze bust of a vintner, complete with a collar of vine leaves and a jaunty hat, crowns the sandstone pillar, while the basin completes the scene. Created by Johann Nepomuk Zwerger, it bears the inscription: 'Blessed be the drink for us: Water for you and wine for me.'
