Completed in 1822, Feste Kaiser Franz was a key part of the Prussian Koblenz Fortress on Petersberg. Today, the remaining parts include the semicircular reduit's ends and the gorge tower at the mountain's base. Named after Emperor Franz I, it is a cultural heritage monument in Rhineland-Palatinate.
