Located at the foot of Petersberg in Koblenz-Lützel, the Franzosenfriedhof is a military cemetery from the Franco-Prussian War of 1870/71. At its heart stands the Marceau Monument, relocated here in 1818, commemorating the fallen French prisoners of war. The site is partially owned by the state of Rhineland-Palatinate and the French government.
