They were brought from faraway lands to create a unique escape for visitors. Just over there, to your left, is the Russian Hedge Theater, adding an air of mystery to the garden. Did you know that this garden was a gift from Empress Catherine the Great to Weimar? It was her way of strengthening ties between Russia and Weimar.
