Trail Visibility

When creating or editing a trail, you can choose who can see it.

The Three Visibility Levels

  • Private: Only you can see and use the trail. No one else has access β€” not even with the link.
  • Unlisted: The trail is accessible via the direct link or QR code but does not appear in public listings or search results.
  • Public: The trail is visible to everyone and appears in city overviews and search results.

Can I Change Visibility Later?

Yes, you can change the visibility at any time through the edit page of your trail.

When to Use Each Level

Use "Private" for personal drafts, "Unlisted" for sharing via link with specific people, and "Public" when you want others to discover your trail.
