What happens when I scan a QR code?

When you scan a QR code at a point of interest, the POI detail page opens in your browser.

For Logged-in Users

• Your check-in is automatically registered
• You see a confirmation with earned points
• Any unlocked achievements are displayed
• Your trail progress is updated

For Guests

• You see all information about the POI (description, images, location)
• A banner invites you to create an account for check-ins
• You can see the trail the POI belongs to

Context Banner

The QR context banner shows you where you came from and what actions are available at the POI — helping you keep a clear overview.
