Scanning a QR Code

Many points of interest feature an ID QR code. Scanning is the easiest way to check in.

How It Works

  1. Open the camera app on your smartphone
  2. Point the camera at the QR code
  3. Tap the displayed link
  4. The POI page opens in your browser
  5. If you're logged in, your check-in is automatically registered

No Account?

You can scan the QR code and view the POI information without an account. For check-ins and progress tracking, you need a free account.

Scanning Issues?

  • Make sure there's enough light
  • Hold the camera steady and at the right distance
  • Check if the QR code is damaged
  • Try the GPS check-in alternative via the POI page
