Message Notifications
Never miss a message from a finder. Here's how notifications work:
Notification Types
- Email โ Sent to all users. Check spam folder!
- Push notifications โ Instant alerts (Plus feature)
- In-app badge โ Unread count in dashboard
Email Notifications
Enabled by default. Every new message triggers an email. To ensure delivery:
- Add itemid.io to your contacts
- Check spam/junk folders regularly
- Verify your email address
Push Notifications (Plus)
For instant alerts:
- Upgrade to itemID Plus
- Enable notifications in settings
- Allow browser notifications when prompted
Customize
Adjust notification preferences in your account settings. You can disable email notifications if you prefer checking manually.
