Not Receiving Messages?
If you're not getting messages from finders, several causes could be at play.
Checklist
- Check spam folder โ Email notifications sometimes land there
- Email verified? โ Your account email must be verified to receive notifications
- Check in-app chat โ Messages are also visible in your dashboard under Messages
- Notifications enabled? โ Check your profile notification settings
Guest Messages
Guest messages are delivered immediately โ there is no verification delay. As soon as someone sends a message through your item's QR code, it appears in your Messages section and you receive an email notification.
Technical Issues
- Add itemid.io as a trusted sender in your email settings
- Check if your mailbox is full
- Test with a different email address
