Every community has a unique QR code that makes it easy to join and participate — just scan and go.

What the QR Code Does

Community QR codes link to short URLs that redirect you to the community page in your preferred language:

• Join link: Takes you to the community page where you can join with one tap
• Alerts link: Opens the community's active alerts board
• Report link: Opens the alerts board so you can report a sighting

Where to Find QR Codes

• Community page: Every community's detail page shows its QR code — ready to share or print
• Physical locations: Communities may place QR codes on community boards, in cafés, veterinarian offices, libraries, or neighbourhood newsletters

Sharing a Community

To share a community with others:

1. Go to the community's page
2. Find the QR code panel
3. Screenshot or print the QR code
4. Share it on community boards, social media, or in messages

Tips

• QR codes work without an itemID account — anyone can scan and browse
• The short URLs are language-independent and redirect to the correct locale automatically
• Place QR codes in visible spots where community members gather
