Notification Digests

Instead of receiving an individual email for every community alert, you can choose to receive a digest — a summary email that bundles multiple alerts together.

Digest frequency options

  • Instant: Receive an email immediately for every new alert (default)
  • Hourly: Receive a summary of new alerts once per hour
  • Daily: Receive a summary of new alerts once per day (at 8:00 AM)
  • None: No email notifications — you still see alerts in-app and via push

What's included in a digest?

Each digest email includes:

  • The item or pet name for each alert
  • The alert topic (e.g., Lost Items, Missing Pets)
  • When the alert was created
  • A direct link to view each alert

Changing your digest frequency

  1. Go to your community page
  2. Open Notification Preferences
  3. Select your preferred Email Digest frequency
  4. Click Save

Good to know

  • Digests only include alerts from topics you are subscribed to
  • Each alert appears only once — you won't get the same alert in multiple digests
  • Up to 20 alerts are included per digest email
  • Choosing "None" only stops emails — in-app and push notifications continue
