Overview
The Explore page is the public area where users can discover cities, trails, and places created by organizations and other users.
Content
- City profiles: Introduction of participating cities with available trails and places
- Public trails: Trails created by organizations and users for following
- Map view: Interactive map with all public places and trails nearby
- Search: Search for cities, trails, or places
City profiles
Participating cities have their own profile pages with an overview of their attractions, recommended trails, and available souvenirs. Cities are configured via the OrganizationType "city" or "hybrid."
Starting a trail
From the Explore page, users can start a trail directly. The trail then appears on their My IDs page and progress is tracked.
