Register facilities, track their status, and receive user feedback through QR codes.
What Are Facilities?
Facilities are physical installations or equipment that you can register and monitor with itemID. From playground equipment and park benches to public restrooms and technical infrastructure β every facility gets a QR code that allows users to submit feedback directly.
What Are Facilities For?
The facility type is ideal for anything that requires regular maintenance or inspection:
- Playground equipment and sports facilities
- Park benches, waste bins, and street furniture
- Public restrooms and washrooms
- Technical installations and infrastructure
- Event equipment and rental gear
Creating a Facility
Create a new facility from your dashboard. Select "Facility" as the type and enter:
- Name and description of the facility
- Location on the map
- Category and optional identifier
- Photos of the current condition
Status System
Every facility has a status that describes its current condition:
- Operational β The facility is working properly (default status)
- Maintenance Needed β Issues have been reported that need attention
- Out of Service β The facility is temporarily unavailable
The status changes automatically based on incoming feedback reports or can be adjusted manually.
Receiving Feedback
The QR code on the facility allows anyone to submit feedback β no account or app required. Users can:
- Rate the condition of the facility
- Describe issues and attach photos
- Report urgent damage immediately
You receive a notification for new reports and can review and manage them from your dashboard.
Facility Overview
Your dashboard shows all registered facilities at a glance β as a list or on a map. Color-coded markers instantly show you which facilities are operational and where action is needed. Filter by status or category to quickly find the right facility.
