Campaigns are time-limited events or challenges that add variety and urgency to city exploration.
Campaign Types
- Seasonal campaigns: Tied to seasons or holidays (Christmas market tour, summer festival, etc.)
- Challenge campaigns: Complete specific tasks within a time frame
- Community campaigns: Collective goals where all explorers contribute together
Campaign Lifecycle
Each campaign has a start date, end date, and optional countdown. Campaigns are automatically activated and deactivated based on their schedule.
Participation
Join a campaign via the city page or campaign detail page. Some campaigns require registration, others automatically include all active explorers.
Campaign Rewards
Campaign rewards include exclusive badges, bonus points, and sometimes physical prizes from organizations. Some campaigns use progress bars to show collective achievement.
