Guide to the interactive city map — navigation, filters, layers, and map-based exploration.

Overview

The interactive city map is your primary tool for exploring a city's Points of Interest.

Map View

The map displays all public places as markers. Hidden places show as blurred markers that become clear when you get closer. Visited places are marked with a checkmark.

Filters & Layers

  • Category filter: Show only specific place types (culture, food, nature, etc.)
  • Trail overlay: Display trail routes on the map
  • Status filter: Show only visited/unvisited places
  • Campaign filter: Highlight campaign-relevant places

Tap on a place marker to see a preview card. From there, navigate to the detail page or get directions. The map supports both satellite and street view.

Proximity Features

When location services are enabled, the map shows your current position and highlights nearby places. Proximity check-in is available when you're within range of a place.
